Timothy Dunford received his legal training as a member of the first class of the Faculty of Law of the University of Victoria, graduating in 1978. He has practiced Family Law in Victoria since 1979.
He is a member of The Collaborative Family Law Group in Victoria, whose approach is a critical tool in resolving the issues that arise from marriage breakdown, and reflects Tim Dunford's values that every effort should be invested in resolving disputes without resorting to Court proceedings.
In addition to his contribution to the legal profession, he has served the community in various ways, including as a member of the Central Saanich Police Board 1987-1992, as an active parent in senior roles in School District #63 (Saanich), and as a parent member of the Governing Council of the B.C. College of Teachers since 2003.
